Aloha! So here we are, at 450 comics. Well, 451 actually, since I updated twice today. I wouldn't make a fuss about a number like this, but this is tentatively the middle of the series. I've planned for Blue and Blond to last about 900 comics. I won't hit that for another few years though, and by then I will have a new comic lined up. So I will be done with Blue and Blond by then, but not webcomics in general.
I'll be taking the series in some pretty weird and imaginative directions soon, but in a way, everything I've written so far has been leading up to it. I'm a person who likes to plan stories WAAAAY in advance, so I throw in little hints here and there of what might come. I've been writing the New Zealand arc for a while, then trashed it, rewrote it, trashed it again. But I've been able to work out a story arc that I feel will flow nicer than ones before it. On top of that, I'll be introducing a little more fantasy and imagination to the surfing world of Blue and Blond, but I don't think it will get too weird.
Anyways, I'm just rambling on now. You'll see for yourselves eventually. Here's to the next 1/2 of Blue and Blond.
