Aloha! I'm sorry, but I just can't work on the comic today. I headed up to DC yesterday with my two guinea pigs and two others who I was watching over for a friend. However while I was driving, my guinea pig Orion and one of my friend's guinea pigs, John Irving, both had a heat stroke, despite them having good ventilation and the AC on full blast during the trip. They both died shortly after we got home.
We've made this trip over 20 times and all of them have had no problems before in the past, so it's just really hard to lose two guinea pigs to what the vet called an "unfortunate accident". It's even harder, because I lost Bedhead just three months ago. So please, to anybody who has guinea pigs, make sure they're as cold as possible during trips
Ironically though, Orion and John Irving happened to have been born in the same litter. I'll just need the weekend to get over this though. The contest is still going on and the comic will return on Monday. Thanks for understanding.
