And you thought that it couldn't get any smaller Aloha! Today's comic introduces a new character, Cap'n Brad. He's based off of my friend Brad (who would've thunk it?). While not all of my characters are based off of real people, many of them are. For instance, Rhiannon looks just like my girlfriend, Stevie, but with glasses. Dash isn't anyone in particular, but is any of the average college drunks that can be found on the streets of Richmond any night of the week. Also, Dan is my friend and fellow artist, Dan, from high school and college. He's not in the comic that much anymore, but he'll be used quite a bit later on. People also ask about who Blue and Blond are supposed to be in my life. Well, they're both me. At times, my hair has been brown, blue, and blonde. Not all at the same time of course, give me a little credit. But both Blue and Blond are half of me each, and the other half was created by them as the strip grew. ~Kilika |
