Aloha! I just got back from Pt. Pleasant, and I have to say that I was pretty pleased with the waves this time around. They were breaking a little closer to shore than usual, but they were larger than usual as well. I got cut up quite a bit by the fins of my board because of a wipe out, but they're pretty minor. I'm planning to live there for all of next summer, which is something I'm really looking forward to. I'm upset that I'm not living there right now, because my favorite surf shop is now looking for people to work there full time. Hopefully I can score that job next year. Seriously, nothing could be better than spending my day only working on my comics, working at my favorite surf shop, and surfing for the rest of the day. |
